SureCloud is looking for an exceptional candidate with 1-2 years’ experience in outbound sales or other customer-facing success roles to join its Revenue Team, which covers the Marketing, Sales and Customer Success functions. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential future customers using an extremely targeted approach. You will use your communication skills and our comprehensive marketing technology stack to drive quality leads into qualified sales opportunities. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance their career by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. As a Business Development Representative at SureCloud, you will serve an instrumental role in the growth of our North America Business. If you are bright, organized, and results-driven, we’d like to meet you. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing well-qualified leads from marketing campaigns to drive sales quotas in the SaaS Technology industry. Responsibilities 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming an expert at using lead generation and contact intelligence tools to routinely extract contacts and create accurate and targeted lists of prospects.
  • Conduct thoughtful account development best practices with multi-channel (phone, email, social media) outreach using a variety of tools including (but not limited to) HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce CRM, G2, and Bombora.
  • Utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably with stakeholders and decisions makers within a prospective customer’s Information Security and GRC teams to drive quality leads into sales opportunities. Key customer profiles might include titles like the Director of Information Security, Chief Information Security Officer, Risk Manager and others.
  • Work closely with the sales team in the ongoing optimization of strategic sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with the other parts of the larger Revenue Team as a whole, like marketing and communications to maximize our outbound success.
  • Build and maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects.
  • Understand and promote SureCloud’s relevant offerings effectively, staying up to date with our latest pricing/payment plans as well as industry news

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 1-2 years of full-time corporate sales or customer-facing experience in the technology sector
  • High levels of motivation, drive, and commercial acumen
  • First-class communication and presentation skills
  • Proven organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Software-as-a-Service sales
  • Inside Sales Experience is a plus
  • Understanding of Account-Based Marketing concepts
  • Experience in specific technologies including Salesforce, HubSpot, Bombora, G2

Location:

We prefer this role to be based out of the Raleigh-Durham area in North Carolina but are open to remote applications if you’re a great fit!
