As novel coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnoses continue to increase around the world, we are writing to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to postpone the SureCloud Customer Conference on the 12th May 2020.

Although this is disappointing news, health, and well-being remain SureCloud’s top priority for both our employees and clients.

The customer event will happen later in the year with our secured speakers at the Biltmore, Mayfair and we will send across new invitations when we have secured an appropriate date.

Keynote Speaker – Matthew Syed

Author and highly acclaimed speaker Matthew Syed will be speaking at SureCloud’s first Client Conference. Syed has best-selling books including Bounce, Black Box Thinking & Rebel Ideas, that are on the subject of mindset and high performance.

Syed is also a journalist for The Times, which he has won multiple awards for. He in addition to that, regularly contributes to television and radio. Syed had previously had a sports career and was England table tennis number one, a title he held for nearly a decade.

Confirmed Speaker – Ian Glover, President of CREST

Ian  has  worked  in  the  IT  industry  for  the  last  40  years  and  has  been  working  in  information  security  for   the  last  36  years.  As  President  of  CREST  he  has  taken  it  to  a   position  of  influence  in  the  technical  security  industry  and  has  been  instrumental  in  many  major  industry   initiatives.  These  include  the  award  winning  Cyber  Essentials  scheme,  the  CREST,  Bank  of  England  and  Government  project  to  develop  the  STAR  and  CBEST   Schemes.  He  also  helped  to  develop  and  implement   the  UK  Government  CIR  (Cyber  Incident  Response)  and  CREST  Cyber  Security  Incident  Response  (CSIR)   schemes.

 Internationally  he  is  working  with  governments  and  regulators  to  establish  or  develop  CREST  chapters  in   Singapore,  Hong  Kong,  Malaysia,  Australia  and  the  USA.

What is the purpose for the conference?

SureCloud’s Cybersecurity team has recently been accredited to provide Simulated Target Attack and Response (STAR) Intelligence-Led Penetration Testing services by CREST. The team has also launched a Risk Advisory practice function. To celebrate these successes, SureCloud is hosting its first-ever Client Conference. Users will have access to our senior consultants and market-leading experts, making this an unmissable educational networking event.
