Leading retailer using SureCloud solution to manage its Cyber Security governance and compliance processes and requirements
PRESS RELEASE April 11, 2016 London – Leading multichannel retailer Marks and Spencer (M&S) has chosen the SureCloud Platform to automate and manage both its internal and external regulatory governance and compliance processes.
M&S selected the SureCloud Platform after the solution demonstrated its capability to integrate with existing frameworks, ease of use and ability to work across a number of departments, systems and processes. The Platform replaces the retailers’ previous manual, spreadsheet-based systems, enabling enhanced data sharing between approved users and offering improved visibility for management of all Cyber Security compliance processes.
Tony Griffiths, Cyber Security Governance Manager, at M&S commented: “The SureCloud Platform’s scalability, flexibility and ‘out of the box’ applications provide a real-time overview of security governance and compliance information as it is recorded and updated by users. This provides us with the level of cross-function reporting that we require to give us management insights into our compliance at many levels.”
“Using SureCloud’s platform we are able to manage our governance and compliance activities more efficiently, to ensure we are continually meeting our requirements,” added Tony Griffiths, “We have been impressed with how the SureCloud Platform integrates with our existing systems, its ease of use, and how it simplifies reporting.”
M&S had evaluated a number of tools to centrally manage the specific Security governance and compliance requirements that are typical of a large retail organisation and chose SureCloud based on the capabilities of its Platform.
The SureCloud Platform provides clients with a wide range of automated security, governance and compliance processes as well as other functionality including Event Management and Vulnerability Scanning. Using the platform SureCloud customers can also manage security testing outputs via the Vulnerability Management Application within the SureCloud Platform as well as delivering traditional penetration test reports.
