The result of 12 months’ research and development, we undertook comprehensive beta testing where you, our customers, gave us valuable feedback to help with refinements for our navigation. This big step-change sets the groundwork for stage 2 (watch this space).
Fantastic New Navigation
Our fantastic new navigation is based on a tile interface. Whatever action you want to take, it all starts in the new Nav Bar (navigation bar). Here’s where you’ll access your tiles. It puts everything right at your fingertips, and available at a click. The dashboard has had an overhaul too. So it works as powerfully as before but with a cleaner, more contemporary look, and presents your data with extra-pleasing clarity to give you more control.
Tile Interface
A tile represents a form, register/tracker, questionnaire, folder, dashboard or application. One click of your mouse takes you straight to wherever you’d like to go. You can ‘favorite’ commonly used tiles, and easily find recently visited tiles. The interface stores a chronological list of recent visits, similar to browser history, saving you time on searches. You can even color-code the tiles for more instant recognition. This makes segmentation easier and is especially handy as a common reference among your team so that everyone can locate the right item without confusion. So, for example, if you wanted to segment all risk-based work, you could make all these red. Or blue, green, yellow…. you get the gist. We’ll soon be adding shortcuts to ‘common actions’ into the tile interface to offer action-based functionality.
Better Dashboarding
SureCloud dashboards never looked so good. As well as a bright new color palette, dashboards now also include ‘free text’ areas. Here you can type notes either for yourself or for colleagues. A brand new table display offers greater flexibility in the way you display, arrange and view your data, and a new and improved risk chart with reference table helps you accurately plot and visualize your risks.
In essence, it’s now much easier to move around your SureCloud applications, handle your workload with efficiency, and quickly jump from A to B to C.
