We’re looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing B2B SaaS company. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for and supported by a Digital Marketing Executive and will have external agency support. 

Job description

In this brand new role for the company, you will develop, implement, track and optimise acquisition and digital brand strategies across digital channels, including our website, SEO, social media, paid media, podcasting and email marketing. This is a hands-on role, and we’re looking for someone who has the desire to both guide the digital marketing strategy and manage and execute the day-to-day activities.

The key priorities of this role are to ensure the effective distribution and promotion of our content across all relevant digital channels, to find routes or doorways in which our target audience can access our website and engage with our brand, and to ensure that our website and landing pages provide an optimal customer experience and drive high quality, sales-ready ICP conversions.

If you have a firm grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies, are able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution, and have a desire to manage and coach a team member, this role could be perfect for you.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Guide the digital marketing strategy and vision for the company. 
  • Manage the digital marketing budget. 
  • Plan, execute and optimise all digital marketing activity, including our website, SEO, social media, paid media, podcasting and email marketing. 
  • Design, build and grow our social media presence. 
  • Work with our digital marketing agency to redesign our company website and ensure it is attractive, optimised and easy to navigate. 
  • Work with our digital marketing agency to run effective paid media campaigns (paid search, paid social, etc.). 
  • Produce unique and engaging written content (and leverage external graphic designers and videographers where needed) to ensure that our content is formatted and presented in the most effective way for each respective digital channel. 
  • Evaluate the customer journey across relevant digital touchpoints to provide optimal customer experience. 
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing activities and assess and optimise against KPI’s. 
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights. 
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests. 
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest trends and emerging technologies in the digital space, developing new and creative digital marketing strategies that we haven’t even thought of yet. 
  • Manage and coach the Digital Marketing Executive. 
  • Manage and own the relationship with our external digital marketing agencies. 

 

 Requirements:

  • Strategic: You understand the fundamentals of strategy, including setting goals, creating processes and procedures, and forecasting ways to achieve set ROIs. 
  • Data-driven: You have a solid knowledge of analytics tools (including Google Analytics) and use data to drive decision-making and improve results.  
  • Expert: You have 7+ years of digital marketing experience across a wide range of channels, with particular expertise in websites, email and organic social media (HubSpot knowledge highly preferable) and a working knowledge of SEO and keyword research. Knowledge of the SaaS market preferable. 
  • Copy-writer: You have clear and concise written skills to ensure that content and messages are tailored and presented in the most effective way for the given digital channel. 
  • Curious: You want to know what makes people tick and are always seeking new opportunities to reach our audiences and deliver timely and relevant content. 
  • Adaptable: You have an entrepreneurial spirit and crave a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you can innovate and help build a disruptive business. 

Location:

London, Reading or remote (with the ability to travel to either the London or Reading office at least once a week once it reopens).
