Position Description: 

We seek an Events & Field Marketing Manager to design and execute field marketing events, influencer marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to scale and accelerate pipeline for key target accounts in both the European and US markets. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, we are looking for a strategic marketer who is curious, passionate, inquisitive, and proactive in terms of driving ideas and innovation to create awareness and demand for SureCloud. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, promote, coordinate, and execute a full-scale events (virtual and face-to-face) program to drive pipeline generation and acceleration and customer retention and expansion. This includes virtual online events like webinars and classes, sponsored trade shows and industry events, SureCloud’s annual flagship event, account-specific 1:1 ABM events, customer events, small roundtables and workshops, and more.  
  • Manage all aspects of event coordination, including objectives, strategy, target audience, materials creation, event messaging/promotions, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, etc. 
  • Strategize, build and execute integrated campaigns— including email campaigns, paid ads, direct mail, etc. to drive engagement pre- and post-event. 
  • Manage the relationship and sponsorship opportunities with industry influencers to help build distribution and credibility into our events and content. 
  • Develop ABM strategy, playbooks, and programs utilizing various marketing channels (events, ads, direct mail, email, phone, etc.) and targeting different account tiers and buyer personas. 
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to create and execute campaigns geared towards customer retention and expansion. 
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the Sales and Business Development teams to ensure alignment on campaigns/initiatives, target audiences, funnel optimization, and timely lead follow-up. 
  • Research industry events and marketing/campaign opportunities and evaluate sponsorship based on SureCloud’s objectives and target market. 
  • Maintain event and campaign documents – budgets, calendars, checklists, run-of-shows, etc. 
  • Forecast, track and manage budgeted expenses for reporting and billing. 
  • Report weekly/monthly on the status of field marketing activities, results, and pivot strategies to align with findings. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Experience in events and field marketing, ideally in enterprise B2B. 
  • Experience running events using webinar & virtual event platforms (e.g. GoToWebinar, Zoom, Bizzabo, etc.). 
  • Experience working on joint marketing programs with sales teams, marketing teams, customers, and channel partners. 
  • Demonstrable expertise in account-based marketing (ABM) strategies, tactics, and technologies. Experience leveraging intent data a big plus. 
  • Excellent copywriting skills to enable effective event messaging and promotions. 
  • Self-starter, high energy, and ability to juggle multiple projects and deliverables with speed, quality, and accuracy. 
  • Experience using sales and marketing technologies such as Salesforce and Hubspot. 
  • Able to travel when required (and allowed), including overseas. 


Reading office or remote (but would require travel into the London or Reading office approx once a week).
